Tiverton Rod and Gun Club is adjacent to the RI DEM's Tiverton Trout Pond and the Sakonnet River. Members often catch trout in Sin and Flesh Brook, which runs through the Club's Fish Road property. The Fishing Committee is always looking for "fresh" ideas.
The Fishing Committee is planning a "Kid's Only" trout fishing derby, tentatively scheduled for April 2011. The RI DEM is a co-sponsoring the event, which will be open to the public as well as to the children of TRGC members.
